My work in sensory theatre is grounded in a core belief: everyone deserves access to the joy and connection that storytelling can bring. I’m passionate about creating inclusive, engaging, and meaningful theatrical experiences—especially for audiences with complex needs, including PMLD and SEND.
My journey into this work began during my actor-musician training at Rose Bruford, through a collaboration with Dr. Gill Brigg. Together we created a sensory adaptation of Macbeth for Riverside School—an experience that reshaped how I think about story, access, and presence. That moment continues to shape my practice today.
In sessions, I often use a loop pedal to build immersive soundscapes, encouraging participants to explore rhythm, texture, and frequency using a variety of instruments. I design and deliver sensory stories that combine music with tactile and visual elements—supporting curiosity, communication, and play.
At the heart of this work is a simple aim: to create spaces of joy, imagination, and meaningful connection.
